Sanctuary Health is currently looking for mental health support worker to work in Dorset.

The pay rate for this locum support worker job is £12.35 (LTD) per hour for weekday shifts, £16.05 (LTD) per hour for nights and Saturday shifts and £29.76 (LTD) per hour for Sunday and Bank holiday shifts. This is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the mental health support worker:
- Participate with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in providing a programme of care and to change the patient's recovery
- Report to the designated trained member of staff any observed changes in physical/behavioural state in the patients
- Report any complaints by patients/relatives to the trained staff on duty
- Ensure that ward and hospital areas remain clean and tidy, working closely with the senior clinical nurse to create a
therapeutic environment
- carry out any other duties as required by the ward manager

Requirements of the mental health support worker:
- Recent experience within a similar role
