Band 5/6/7 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated occupational therapist/physiotherapist to work within a joint community rehabilitation service in Bexhill on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapies practices and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum occupational therapist/physiotherapist job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the occupational therapist/physiotherapist:
- Provides short term support of up to six weeks to people in their own homes usually following discharge from hospital following a stroke, orthopaedic trauma or accident
- Following up on referrals in the community and providing domiciliary care to encourage and promote independence

Requirements of the occupational therapist/physiotherapist:
All applicants must have a relevant qualification in occupational therapy and be professionally registered on the HCPC. You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role. You must also be a car driver with access to a car.
