Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Podiatrist to fill a full-time role in Liverpool.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Podiatry and be registered on the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Podiatrist job is to £23.73 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.


Job Description
- The post holder is responsible for the delivery of clinical care to a defined population. Supported by senior practitioners, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role.
- They will work effectively and collaboratively within the team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures and provide clinical leadership.
- Ensure the delivery of the quality strategy within the designated area incorporating establishment of systems and processes.

Principal Responsibilities:
-Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes to promote and prevent adverse effects on health and well-being.
- Implement and evaluate individual treatment plans for patients.
- Identify, and manage as appropriate treatment plans for patients at risk.
- Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations.



Requirements of the Podiatrist:
- Degree or equivalent within Podiatry.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within a similar role.
