Registered Mental Health Nurse

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a band 5 registered mental health nurse to fill a full-time role in Winchester.

The pay rate for this locum RMN job is £18.89 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour for weekdays, £24.56 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour for Saturdays and Nights and £30.23 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour for Sundays and Bank holidays. This job is an initial 4-month contract.

Responsibilities of the RMN:
- To complete nursing assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
- To carry out all relevant forms of nursing care.
- To carry out high standard of nursing care and treatment of patients working alongside staff of all professions in the ward/unit.
- To play an active part in the ward/units multi-disciplinary patient treatment programmes.
- To help to organise and participate in therapeutic and social activities to change patient's recovery.
- To attend case conferences/review meetings with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to review patients' conditions and their progress in the programme of care and recovery.
- To arrange patients' meals and special diets and participating in the meals service.

Requirements of the RMN:
- Valid NMC registration under mental health
- Experience in working in a community mental health setting is essential
- A degree or equivalent within mental health nursing (RMN trained)
