    Description

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to work full time in Weymouth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

    The pay rate for this locum CAMHS practitioner job is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent). This role offers an initial 3-month contract.

    Duties:
    - Have additional skills or understanding of DBT, CBT, or other evidence-based interventions in a CAMHS setting.
    - Will need to be able to pick up a caseload, review cases and be confident with decision making. Ability to act autonomously but also engage in clinical supervision

    Requirements of the CAMHS Practitioner:
    - Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
    - Current NMC or HCPC registration
    - Significant NHS experience as a CAMHS practitioner
    - Previous experience of working with young people, in a mental health setting, in a Community Team, in CAMHS
    - Ability to undertake Duty role, crisis role, and psychiatric liaison as and when.
    - Enhanced DBS for working with children
    - Must be a car driver
    - Rio experience
    - Experience in assessment, risk assessment and management, treatment planning, crisis management, inter agency liaison, safeguarding, systemic thinking, formulation.
    - Knowledge of ADHD and ASD co morbidities in a CAMHS service.
