    Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse - Learning Disabilities

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated band 6 community mental health nurse to fill a full-time role in Tooting. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.

    The pay rate for this mental health nurse job is £27.33 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 1-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the mental health nurse:
    - Leading the development and audit of clinical standards within the nursing service, in relation to best practice
    - Working within the multi-disciplinary team to carry out assessments and help design interventions for people with learning disabilities and mental health and/or challenging needs
    - Ensuring effective interagency working when clients are admitted and discharged from mental health hospitals or other in-patient settings

    Requirements of the mental health nurse:
    - Degree or equivalent within mental health nursing (RMN trained)
    - NMC registration and a valid live pin
    - NHS experience as a Band 6 RMN
