Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to work on a full-time basis is Tameside. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £26 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 1-
month contract.

This service will provide high quality, coordinated, child, young person and family centred services which respond to needs and adopt a preventative and early help approach. Services will be delivered in a way which listens too and responds to the voice of children, young people and their families.

You will work in the community managing a varied caseload which includes complex cases and be responsible for assessing, evaluation and supporting the needs of children/young people with disabilities. Making recommendations for appropriate interventions, including equipment and adaptations. You will need to demonstrate to families and Carer's
alternative ways of carrying out daily living tasks, to promote and maintain children/young people's independence.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapies
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
