Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an Adult Assessment Team in Mitcham.

The pay rate for this Community Psychiatric Nurse role is £27.33 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Job Summary:
- To Assessment/triage mental health needs for adults across the borough of Merton at, within the Referral Centre of Merton Assessment Team
-To signpost service users to other agencies/services and/or discharge to primary care where necessary
-To manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence based/client-centred principles to assess, direct treatment and discharge plans
-The post holder is expected to utilise community resources, working closely with other elements within Merton and Secondary services
- The post holder will ensure user and carer involvement in all aspects of service delivery
- The post holder will be expected to promote, by example and leadership, a high standard of patient care
- The post holder will communicate and collaborate effectively with all agencies and agents involved in supporting adults with mild to severe mental health needs

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
- Must be a car driver
