Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a band 6 community psychiatric nurse to fill a full-time role in South London within a promoting recovery team.

The pay rate for this locum CPN job is £23.20 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour. This job is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the CPN:
- Valid NMC registration under mental health
- Experience in working in a community mental health setting is essential
- A degree or equivalent within mental health nursing (RMN Trained)
- Experience and understanding of working in a community setting and with a multi disciplinary team
- Working with service users with a severe and enduring mental illness and complex social care needs
- Assessment and care planning skills
- Planning, prioritising, ability to use initiative, and ability to work alone
- Administration of medication
- Risk assessment, crisis management, and Duty work
- Understanding of social care issues, e.g. housing, benefits
- Knowledge of CPA, Mental Health Act, and other relevant legislation
- Understanding of diversity issues, and working in culturally diverse areas
- Knowledge of in-house system is ePJS
