Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a band 6 community psychiatric nurse to fill a full-time role in Sutton to work within a support and recovery team.

The pay rate for this locum CPN job is £27.33 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour. This job is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the CPN:
- Assess/triage/act as first entry point for adults and older adults into community mental health secondary care
- Work proactively with clients presenting with complex needs, using evidence based/client-centred principles to assess, plan, and direct treatment and discharge plans
- Ensure user and carer involvement in all aspects of service delivery
- Promote, by example and leadership, a high standard of patient care

Requirements of the CPN:
- Valid NMC registration under mental health
- Experience in working in a community mental health setting is essential
- A degree or equivalent within mental health nursing (RMN Trained)
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of assessing and managing crisis with those with a severe mental illness
- Experience of maintaining written record of continual professional development
