    Description

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Dietitian to fill a full-time role in Barking and Dagenham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of dietetics and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Dietitian job is £20.40 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 12-month contract.

    Requirements of the Dietitian:
    - Degree or equivalent within Nutrition and Dietetics
    - HCPC registered as a dietitian
    - Recent post qualifying experience working as a dietitian

    Responsibilities of the Dietitian:
    - Support high risk low weight Children and young people(CYP) and adults with complex dietary needs.
    - Working closely with the medics and nursing team to support CYP and adults restore weight in a medically safe way-including offering regular physical health monitoring.
    - Working with the multidisciplinary team in assessing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating a programme of care for eating disorder service users.
    - To manage a service user caseload with the support of the Multidisciplinary team.
    - To counsel, educate and review service users who have been referred for dietary intervention.
    - To ensure that dietary recommendations are communicated by utilizing the highest level of interpersonal skills to all members of the team and incorporated in the service users' overall package of care.
