Are you interested in joining a fast-paced, vibrant, occupational therapies service in Birmingham?

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated occupational therapist to work full time in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum occupational therapist job is £23.27 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the occupational therapist:
- Go out independently and assess service users in their home
- Support for duty service running at the base
- Functional OT assessments and ability to plan interventions

Requirements of the occupational therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within occupational therapies
- HCPC registered as an occupational therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an occupational therapist
- Car driver
- Experience of working in older adults, dementia and frailty services. Or in the absence of this, substantial evidence of working with older people where it specifically mentions experience in cognitive impairment, assessment of functional skills in the homes setting and/or liaison with social services care packages
