Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to work in Aylesbury/Amersham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £23.38 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 4-month contract.

- The post holder may be supported in the delivery of input to care groups consisting of children attending early years and mainstream schools across all settings and key stages, including those who have an EHCP as a result of their complex communication and interaction difficulties.
- Helping to advise on the development of Services in this area, have day to day responsibility for co-ordinating a Speech and Language Therapy Service to individuals in early years settings and mainstream schools and independently manage the caseloads in these settings.
- Child centred training.
- The post holder will be involved in the provision of early years and school aged assessments on site in settings and Mainstream Schools.

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registered as a therapist.
- Candidates must have Paediatric experience.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in this speciality (the treatment of children with specific speech and language impairment and/or social communication disorders) in a variety of settings.
- Able to travel between a range of clinical locations.
