Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 registered mental health nurse to work full time in North London.

The pay rate for this locum RMN job is £26.44 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the RMN:
- To have high level of competence working within a mental health setting or other setting working with older persons with dementia.
- Ability to work independently and managing time effectively.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the personal and clinical needs of individual service users, their relatives and carers.
- Able to develop effective relationships with external agencies and to act as an advocate as and when necessary.
- To have a flexible and creative approach to problem solving and to have an understanding of the importance of continuous improvement.

Requirements of the RMN:
- Valid NMC registration under mental health
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable
- A degree or equivalent within mental health nursing (RMN trained)
- 2 years post qualifying experience at Band 5/6
- Must be a car driver
- Ability to undertake complex assessments using various cognitive tools including RUDUS, ACE111 or MMSE.
