Band 7 Sonographer
Permanent | Norfolk | Salary of £36,250 - £41,373 per annum

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Sonographer to work full time in Norfolk.

The post holder of this role will receive a competitive salary of £36,250 - £41,373 per annum.

Responsibilities of the sonographer:
- Correctly recording all ultrasound images where appropriate on the Radiology PACs system or thermal imaging system
- Communicating effectively with the superintendent sonographer, consultant radiologists, clinical staff and radiology assistant staff, regarding operational and clinical issues
- Discussing the findings of the ultrasound examination with the patient with in the protocols of the department. This will include the need to impart bad news in the case of fetal death and fetal abnormalities in antenatal clinic

Requirements of the sonographer:
- Degree or equivalent within Radiology
- HCPC registered as a sonographer
- Relevant post graduate qualification within medical ultrasound
