Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Childrens Occupational Therapist in Bromley on a part-time basis (permanent contract).

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this occupational therapist job is £17,201.06 to £22,027.20 per annum.

Duties include:
- To provide, with support from the senior Occupational Therapy and/or Head of Children's Occupational Therapy, a high quality occupational therapy service to children from 0 to 19 years of age with difficulties in play, self-care and/or school occupations due to a variety of conditions such as physical disability, learning disability, developmental delay, developmental co-ordination disorder and autism. The post holder will be required to see children in a variety of settings including the Phoenix Children's Resource Centre, special school provisions and mainstream schools and nurseries.
- To manage a defined caseload, using evidence based / client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
- To regularly supervise Occupational Therapy students on practice placement.
- To provide leadership for junior staff as delegated by the Head of Service.

Requirements of the occupational therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within occupational therapies
- HCPC registered as an occupational therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an occupational therapist
- Community experience
- Must be a car driver
- Good IT skills are required as electronic patient records are used
- Previous use of RIO would be preferable
