    Eating Disorders Practitioner

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Eating Disorders Practitioner to work in Maidenhead for a leading private healthcare client. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of psychological therapies.

    The successful candidate will be a qualified Psychologist, CBT/DBT Therapist, Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist with proven experience of working as a Mental Health Professional

    The Salary for this Eating Disorders Practitioner job is £21,598 per annum/£18.41 p/h and is an initial 6-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the Eating Disorders Practitioner:
    - Alongside the multi-disciplinary team of specialist GPs, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Health Care Assistants,
    - You will assess, treat and review adolescents with eating disorders referred to our services.
    - Provide effective care, expertise, advice and support to the team, and others who are involved with young people that are presenting with eating issues thus ensuring a high quality care to young people and families
    - Provide comprehensive recommendations and advice to young people with eating disorders their families and others involved with the young person
    - Act as a designated resource to young people and families
    - Facilitate the development of the eating disorders service, as part of a multidisciplinary team and to promote an innovative and progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence based practice

    Requirements of the Eating Disorders Practitioner role:
    - HCPC/NMC registration
    - Experience of working within a similar role
