    Description

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to work full-time as a Hand Therapist based in London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of therapy practices and be registered with the HCPC.

    The starting pay rate for this locum Hand Therapist job is £24 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 1-month contract.

    We are looking for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to work in a busy hand therapy out-patient service. Prior experience in the area of hand therapy is a prerequisite for this position which requires the autonomous management of a caseload of patients with conditions and injuries relating to the hand and wrist.

    You must work in the limits of your own competence and liaise with senior members of the team for guidance as required to ensure safe, personal and effective intervention.

    Requirements of the Hand Therapist:
    - All applicants must have a relevant qualification in occupational therapy or physiotherapy and be professionally registered on the HCPC.
    - You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
    - Extended experience working as a Senior Therapist / Specialist/ Extended Scope Practitioner in the field of MSK Hands.
