    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapy Practice Manager to work in Newham.

    The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £46,578 - £49,458 per annum.

    Responsibilities and requirements of the occupational therapist
    - To provide professional support to qualified and unqualified staff delivering equipment, assistive technology and sensory services (Enabled Living)-Supporting Managers to manage resources efficiently and effectively; without compromising the delivery of high quality, fully integrated services.
    - To provide professional leadership in line with their professional body across Adult Social Care
    - Providing leadership and management to a team of qualified and non-qualified staff in the provision of home adaptations for independent living to deliver the key strategic aims of the organisation and to ensure that the customers have access to high quality services

    Requirements of the occupational therapy practice manager:
    All applicants must have a relevant qualification in occupational therapy and be professionally registered on the HCPC.

    You must have at least 2 years recent post qualifying experience working within a similar role.

    -Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Occupational Therapy legislation, particularly The Care Act 2014 and how this relates to the statutory role of social care and Occupational Therapy.
    - Knowledge, understanding of human development, attachment theory and working through conflict to a satisfactory and agreed resolution.
    - Knowledge, understanding of and commitment to Personalization ensuring individuals have maximum choice and control are supported to take risks which enable them to maintain their chosen lifestyle.
    - Knowledge, understanding of and commitment to the governance of Occupational Therapy Work and to apply the HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethnics, including a passion for achieving excellent Occupational Therapy practice.
    - An understanding of the importance of performance data and a willingness to contribute to the improvement of practice and systems to enhance team performance, including the use of IT in the collation of data and recording activity.
