    Description

    Are you interested in joining a fast-paced, vibrant, Occupational Therapies Service in Southampton?

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 Social Services Community Occupational Therapist to work on a full-time basis in Southampton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £36.13 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 5-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
    - As an Occupational Therapist on our team you will be responsible for leading holistic assessments of Reablement needs and planning Reablement interventions to support across a multi-disciplinary team.
    - There will be a need to cover the entire West Hampshire area as required.
    -There may also be opportunities to work across Hampshire as part of a county wide Reablement Service comprising Occupational Therapy, Sensory Services and CQC Registered Community Response Staff.

    Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
    - Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
    - HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
    - Recent post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
    - Knowledge and previous experience of working in the community or on hospital base.
    - Must be a car driver.
    - Experience in rehabilitation or acute clinical work.
