    Social Services Occupational Therapist

    Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social services occupational therapist to fill a full-time role in Hampshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum occupational therapist job is to be confirmed and is an ongoing contract.
    We offer a £250 referral bonus for anyone referred to us.

    Responsibilities of the occupational therapist:
    - Working with adults who have had recent change in their functional ability in their own homes
    - To follow the social model of disability and practice based on holistic and person centred care, emphasising the promotion of self-reliance and resourcefulness

    You will need previous experience of working in the community or in the assessment of service users and carers with complex needs and the home environment. You will be providing expert advice, and assessments for equipment and home modifications /adaptations, moving and handling assessments and reducing or minimising the need for care packages

    Requirements of the occupational therapist:
    - Degree or equivalent within occupational therapy
    - HCPC registered as an occupational therapist
    - Recent post qualifying experience working as an occupational therapist
    - Experience of working in the community is essential
