Are you interested in joining a fast-paced, vibrant, occupational therapies service in Milton Keynes?

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated social services occupational therapist to work on a part-time basis in Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum occupational therapist job is £23.04 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the occupational therapist:
- Determine an individual's eligibility for a blue badge by undertaking desk-based and independent mobility assessments
- Resolve to conclusion telephone, face-to-face and written enquiries from customers, other MKSP departments, external agencies and the council
- Keep up to date with the blue badge reforms and make appropriate recommendations to the administration team leader
- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of relevant local and national developments pertaining to the blue badge scheme
- Be proactive in joining blue badge scheme
- Maintain records and write reports in accordance with the service's policies and procedures

Requirements of the occupational therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within occupational therapy
- HCPC registered as an occupational therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an occupational therapist
