Sanctuary Health has a job vacancy for a Social Care Physiotherapist to work in a Physical Disabilities Team in Leicester.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £25 to £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist

Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist:
- Provide physiotherapy intervention working as an autonomous Practitioner.
- Working with Service Users with a range of disabilities, functional abilities and medical diagnosis to promote single handed care, help to reduce reliance on packages of care, and sustain current levels of independence, avoid hospital admissions/ readmission and facilitate safe hospital discharges.
- Perform physiotherapeutic assessments of Service Users, using clinical reasoning skills and to provide, develop and deliver an individual treatment programme.
- To assist the work of the Occupational Therapist, Social Work and Care Management Officer.
