    Sanctuary Health has a permanent job vacancy for a CAMHS Staff Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to work full-time with a leading private healthcare provider in London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.

    The salary for this role is £26,682 - £34,700 per annum.

    Job purpose:
    To provide specialist assessment and treatment, including rehabilitation to people with learning disabilities, mental illness and or challenging behaviour. To provide clinical leadership to junior staff. To support the management team in delivering an effective and efficient service within available resources.

    - To act as named nurse/care co-ordinator to appointed service users.
    - To delegate and monitor support workers tasks undertaken at your direction.
    - To ensure that support workers receive skill training from both yourself and other agencies, which are commensurate with both the grade at which they operate and the work expected of them.
    - To ensure that the care plans reflect accurately the direction given by the clinical team.
    - To be able to give account of the effectiveness of care plans at clinical and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
    - To ensure that the Mental Health Act is administered accurately in respect of detained patients. This includes arranging MHA83 Section 117/CPA meetings as required.
    - To be responsible for own professional clinical management updating needs and advising unit manager accordingly.
    - To always act within NMC guidelines and regulations and, in doing so, to advise the manager(s) of situations/practices which could be in breach of the same.
    - To ensure that both the NMC guidelines and local procedures in respect of drugs and other substances which may be noxious or harmful to health are adhered to.
    - To ensure that the Patients' Charter and Valuing People are adhered to.
    - To undertake full training in Physical Intervention (General Services Association) techniques and maintain such skills through regular practice sessions and refresher updating courses.
    - To be able to use Physical Interventions within the agreed policy and as laid down in the care plan following appropriate assessment.
    - To reflect a commitment to student nurses allocated to the units.
    - To be involved in outreach services as required.
    - To provide support and skill training to family members and other carers as required.
    - To act always in a manner that reflects the highest standards of professional nursing care and attitude.

    Requirements of the Staff Nurse:
    - You will be a registered nurse and will have a valid NMC pin.
    - A genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development.

    - £2,500 as a "Golden Hello", or up to £8,000 as part of the relocation package and free support from Benivo (see attached).
    - Regular individual supervision and reflective practice groups.
