    Substance Misuse Lead Nurse

    Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Substance Misuse Lead nurse to work in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

    The Salary for this Lead Nurse job is £32,000 - £36,000.

    Responsibilities of the lead nurse:
    - Providing triage and care to inmates
    - Working within a fast-paced A&E unit
    - Dispensing medication to inmates and managing a caseload of substance misuse clients

    Requirements of the lead nurse:
    - Degree or equivalent in nursing
    - Current NMC registration
    - Awareness of, and ability to work within, clinical legislation in relation to service users
    - Experience of working and managing people/teams in the clinical services and substance misuse
    - Experience of working in the health/social care field or the ability to demonstrate enough experience in similar fields
    - Understanding the UK Drug Strategy and Social Policy Forms
