Supporting nurses and midwives throughout the revalidation process

As of April 2016, nurses and midwives must submit a revalidation application in order to remain registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)Replacing the previous prep requirements, this new process will ensure that nurses and midwives can continually update their skills, demonstrating a commitment to safe and effective practice.

We hosted an interactive online discussion giving nurses and midwives the opportunity to to ask our panel of experts any questions they may have about the new revalidation process. The replay can be found below.

If you would like to give us feedback on the discussion, or were unable to take part and still have unanswered questions about revalidation, please fill in our survey and we will respond to you as soon as we can.

We have produced some factsheets which will provide further information about what revalidation means, how it differs from Prep and how Sanctuary can support you throughout the process.

For more information about revalidation, you can speak to our team of experts. Simply email revalidation@sanctuaryhealth.com

When submitting your revalidation application, it is important to remember that everything must relate back to the NMC Code of Conduct.
